DiVA Fair 2007 New York

“Ágape”: five parallel narrations in which five women, each in her own kitchen eat continuously of a bowl full of cooked eggs. Lockdown shots that portray the dissatisfaction or restlessness from a visible serenity. The apathy in their faces does not correspond to the gravity of the situations that are sensed in their astounded faces.
The time goes by in so far as are repeated the same movements, perseveredly, slaves we do not know if of an external force or of their own inercias

About the Gallery :

Founded on year 2000, Galeria Sicart consists of a principal space of 125 m2 and a small alternative space of 25 m2 for alternative projects. This allows the gallery to do at the same time one big show together with another more intimate one.

Since its beginnings, the gallery is been sensible to the more daring and bold art proposals of young artists, making special focus on artistic impressions like photography, video, drawing, painting, objects and installations.

During these years, the gallery has participated in national fairs, (Loop, Edición Madrid, Artesantander, Valencia Art, Inart, Art Salamanca, Inart Girona) international fairs (Arte Lisboa, Art Frankfurt, Diva New York, Scope New York, Buenos Aires Photo, Miami Photo, Arte BA) and other different curator projects.
