About Shoggoth
Homey
The time of the narration is the past: the subtitles refer to the years already lived by the protagonist, the images are possible location for these past events. Everything has already happened but, at the same time, few things can certainly said: the name, the age, nationality of the protagonist are uncertain and only partially understandable. Homey is an archive of fragments related to each other, in other terms, is a whole of objects that create an open structure environment. In Homey everything is uncertain, like the protagonist’s desires that react to the failure of the collective utopia of revolution, with the private utopia, bourgeois, of building a villa on the hills.

About
the Gallery :
N.O.Gallery opened in Milan in December 2004.
N.O.Gallery is a never-off point of contact and research in contemporary art, a place where exhibitions and seminars are organized and a gallery which promotes contamination between different subjects and people.
N.O.Gallery concentrates on exhibiting emerging as well as established artists with particular attention to videoart, photography and installation.
N.O.Gallery addresses its activity not uniquely to contemporary art experts but also to an audience of art lovers and young entrepreneurs.
The galleries intention is to devolve and disseminate the art works with a commitment to demonstrate that reproducing and editioning art works at an accessible price means confronting the issue of cultural democracy.
N.O. Gallery believes very strongly in the concept of making art collecting accessible to the widest possible audience and for this reason the gallery invests also in experimental research (multiples in the digital era).
In 2005 the gallery began a cycle of exhibitions dedicated on the multiple of today artists. N.O.Gallery collaborates with museums such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art of New York and with Institutions such as Cneai of Chatou (Paris), Galleria Comunale d’arte Contemporanea of Monfalcone and Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa of Venice. |
